Old newspaper: "Tragedy at Clover Lawn" Aug, 1967.- A fire broke out early this morning at Clover Lawn, part of the Mayhew Estate, local authorities said. Although the cause of the fire has not yet been determined, police have collected several statements from the house personnel present at that time saying that they were done with their late shift and heading towards the entrance gate when they heard a "strong whistling sound" followed by the crackling of flames. John Heathrow, an old family friend and worker of Mr. Henry ran to the nearest town for help, but the fire quickly consumed the old Victorian house before the Fire department arrived. Although it was presumed that the Smith family, the recent new owners of the Estate had been inside the house when the fire started, no bodies have been found. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.
